CME Learning Lunches address gaps in professional practice in primary care, specifically current practice versus evidence-based practice in the following areas: Problems encountered in practice or identified by poor patient outcomes Incorporating new/emerging treatment guidelines into practice Community health issues or initiatives Compassionate Care Rounds, a subset of Learning Lunches, address gaps in communication and teamwork. 1. Recognize clinical presentation of bacterial and aseptic meningitis
2. Be familiar with laboratory testing that will support or refute the diagnosis
3. Imaging issues
4. Be comfortable with treatment including the order in which medications should be given
5. Begin concept of empiric antibiotics in the age of antibiotic stewardship
6. Recognize concept of prophylaxis for family and health care team

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 1.00 IPCE credits for learning and change.

Cancellation Policy
