Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Identify anxious, aggressive and violent behavior.
  2. Identify effective de-escalation techniques
  3. Implement de-escalation techniques to prevent, reduce and manage anxious, aggressive and/or violent behavior
  4. Minimize risk of injury
  5. Increase confidence related to proper handling of anxious, aggressive and/or violent behavior
