The course will explore unique features of heart disease. Cardio ailments to include chest pain, emerging therapies, traditional and non-traditional risk factors for cardiovascular disease of all ages and new horizons in diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease.

1. Develop a systematic approach to evaluating and managing patients presenting with acute or chronic chest pain
2. Implement comprehensive risk management strategies for cardiovascular health, incorporating personalized risk assessment tools, lifestyle modifications, and evidence-based interventions to optimize primary prevention and reduce cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.
3. Effectively diagnose cardiovascular conditions by conducting thorough clinical assessments, formulating appropriate differential diagnoses, and selecting and ordering relevant diagnostic tests based on guidelines and patient presentation to ensure timely and accurate evaluation.

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 1.00 IPCE credits for learning and change.
