Provide evidence-based best practice techniques for clinical application and raise awareness to diagnosis / treatment approaches for Central Texas Athletic Trainers in the realm of Sports Medicine, Sports Science, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Mental Health, Emergency Medicine, Neurology.

1. At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to differentiate the clinical presentations in the following domains: Emergency Medicine, Behavioral Health, Cardiology, Nutrition, Neurology, Sports Medicine, and Emergency Management.
2. At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to diagnose possible conditions/ injuries of the following domains: Emergency Medicine, Behavioral Health, Cardiology, Nutrition, Neurology, Sports Medicine, and Emergency Management based on patient/ family history.
3. At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to identify principles of the following domains: Emergency Medicine, Behavioral Health, Cardiology, Nutrition, Neurology, Sports Medicine, and Emergency Management pertaining to athletics/ sports environment including indications, contraindications, technical considerations, and outcomes.
4. At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to implement best practices in athletic training administration, including program management, emergency planning, and healthcare delivery strategies to enhance the effectiveness of athletic healthcare programs.

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 17.00 IPCE credits for learning and change.

Cancellation Policy
