Overview
The Ascension St. John Medical Center's Stroke and Neurocritical Care Symposium is designed to explore innovative approaches to patient care for patients with acute ischemic stroke, brain hemorrhage, vascular malformations, ICU delirium, anoxic brain injury, traumatic brain injury, coma and seizures.

Objectives
Following this program, the attendees will be able to:

  1. Review pharmacology of vitamin K antagonists and direct oral anticoagulants
  2. Outline current reversal strategies for anticoagulant associated intracranial hemorrhages
  3. Discuss clinical controversies surrounding andexanet alfa vs 4F-PCC for factor Xa reversal

Accreditation
Ascension is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the Healthcare team.
