This one hour course is approved by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission as required by the 86th Texas Legislative session for healthcare practitioners as of Jan.27, 2021. Health providers need to be aware of the issue and how to identify indicators & red flags in patients (both adults and children) who may be currently involved in either sex or labor trafficking.

1. Define Human Trafficking to include signs.
2. Discuss internal efforts and strategy to combat Human Trafficking.
3. Describe your role in identification and response to Human Trafficking.

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 1  IPCE credits for learning and change.
