This is the final WBT in a series of modules designed to educate health care providers to provide hereditary cancer risk assessment and genetic consent as part of a collaborative process, and is meant to be viewed after taking the NGS Panel Testing for Hereditary Cancer WBT. This module gives information on the collaborative model, how it works and why it is important, including the benefits and potential challenges of implementing this process.

1. Describe the responsibilities and roles of the genetic counselor extender (GCE)
2. Describe the collaborative model process
3. Outline indications for referral to a board-certified genetic counselor
4. List the benefits and challenges of implementing a collaborative genetic model

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 0.50 IPCE credits for learning and change.

Cancellation Policy
