This activity will support the continuing educational needs of the Medical Staff. Topics will include standard treatment recommendations, quality and safety issues identified and gaps in practice. Retrospective case presentations and panel discussion will be held to provide knowledge and identify best practice.

1. Describe the venomous snakes indigenous to the United States & OK.
2. Explain the difference between a dry snakebite and an envenomation.
3. Discuss the local and systemic effects of snake venom.
4. Discuss the local and systemic effects of snake venom.
5. List treatment resources for snake envenomations available in your community.

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 0.75 IPCE credits for learning and change.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected]
