 The 2022 ASV Research Symposium will include a Keynote Address from Dr. Frederick Masoudi, Vice President for Ascension Health Clinical Research Analytics and Research Support Services. An abstract competition will highlight podium presentations of judged projects from various categories including Basic and Clinical Research, Quality Improvement, Case Study, and Interdisciplinary/Transformational. Medical breakout sessions will highlight research completed by resident, fellow, and medical students as well as our faculty physicians, nurses, and pharmacists. Breakout sessions will include Pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, Pharmacology, Internal Medicine/Family Medicine, and Interdisciplinary.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Review Performance Improvement, Evidence Based Practice and Research projects that have taken place at St .Vincent Health System.
  2. Identify how these projects were chosen and conducted.
  3. Disseminate the results of each project.

Accreditation
Ascension is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the Healthcare team.

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 4.25 IPCE credits for learning and change.
