Overview
This day outlines current treatment information for patients with pulmonary complication. Using case-based information, research studies, common practice and presentations will focus on airway procedures, sleep medicine, and challenges seen in critical care

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Recognize the signs and symptoms of obstructive sleep apnea.
  2. Identify other non-respiratory causes of sleep disorder.
  3. Identify symptoms and reduce the spread of tuberculosis
  4. Summarize the treatment options available for a patient with chronic cough.
  5. Discuss with patients the importance of multi-disciplinary care in severe asthma.

Accreditation
Ascension is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the Healthcare team.
