For Nurses Week 2024, nurses were invited to submit abstracts of their research, evidence-based practice, or quality improvement work. Several were selected for pre-recording to be available for on demand viewing.

1. Describe findings from new research, quality improvement and evidence-based practice projects that may impact their practice.
2. The learner will be able to describe the benefits of early post operative ambulation in the bariatric surgical population.
3. Identify existing programs that offer support to growth-minded associates
4. Describe the Pathway to Excellence (PTE) designation
5. The learner will be able to describe the key attributes needed to conduct an effective clinical debrief.
6. Learner will be able to identify the importance of roles during a Code Blue.
7. Learners will be able to describe the impact of RSI simulation training on the self-efficacy of OR staff members
8. The learner will identify core strategies that can drive engagement on a unit practice council

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 0.50 IPCE credits for learning and change.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected]
