This quarterly, regularly scheduled series was developed as a collaboration between our national behavioral health service line and the ethics department in Ascension. Webinar topics were developed based on provider surveys and identified learning needs of those who provide care for patients and clients with behavioral health needs, as well as the broader community. Sessions are case-based and learner participation is encouraged.

1. Understand the legal, risk, clinical and ethical considerations relevant to the topic being presented
2. Articulate ethical principles and Ethical and Religious Directives that are relevant to the topic
3. Increase awareness of behavioral health and wellness resources available to them as Ascension associates, and to patients within their care
4. Recognize and be able to respond to clinical and ethical challenges related to behavioral health needs and specific topics within their scope of work.
5. Connect ethical principles and frameworks explored within the series to professional codes of ethics

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 1.00 IPCE credits for learning and change.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected]
