"Watch Your Language - Words Matter in Healthcare" presented by Father Tom Welk of Harry Hynes Hospice. This course provides guidance on how to better communicate with patients, families, and coworkers during difficult and high emotion circumstances.

1. Give a definition of a medical intervention
2. List five technical medical phrases which can lead to patient/family misunderstandings
3. Identify ways in which these phrases can be put into language more likely to be comprehended by patients/families

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 1.00 IPCE credits for learning and change.

Cancellation Policy
