Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Review, identify and analyze the pharmacological needs of trauma patients in the Emergency Department
  2. Identify and apply best practice interventions to optimize outcomes for regarding pharmacological therapy for trauma patients presenting through the ED
  3. Summarize interdisciplinary care team roles when trauma patients present with illness or injury
  4. Identify patient behavior in presenting and response to pharmacological interventions
